About a year ago, Jason & I got up before the crack of dawn, around 4:30, to make the hike up to Brasstown Bald to watch the sunrise. When we reached the top we were in awe of the beauty. We were above a sea of clouds as the sun made it's way up from underneath. It definitely ranks as one of the best and most stunning sunrises I have ever seen. Appalachian sunrises have a way of capturing your heart like no other.
